[MHWI] Fade to Black | Fatalis vs Sns | 8’24″28 | TA Wiki Rules
^^
Thank you to all my friends for hunting Fatalis with me!!! ^^
I think Sns is capable of sub 8 on Fatalis TA Wiki
The Phase 1 time in this run was okay to continue on for a sub 9 attempt, but still too slow for a sub 8 attempt. If you don’t get a headbreak in Phase 1, a good time for getting Fatalis to fly away would be at around 1’40 or faster
I’m tired of baiting cones tho ^^; so I’m prolly going to end here
Notes:
-Landing PR 3 on the head during Fatalis’ zig-zag flamethrower in 2-leg stance is a good punish. With some Partbreaker, a full PR combo plus an extra PR 3 by itself is enough to cause a flinch
-Partbreaker 3 is very helpful. When doing 2 full PR combos in a row on the head, the 1st hit of the 2nd PR 3 may end up reaching the flinch threshold, causing the 2nd hit to contribute to the next flinch instead
-If Fatalis does a cone directly into the ground during/after a PR 1 on the chest, it’s safe to just continue and do an untimed PR 2 into PR 3. No need to Clutch Claw the chest or dive
-If Fatalis’ first headbreak happens in Phase 1, 2 full PR combos on the head allows time for a Farcaster as Fatalis leaves
Till next time and thank you for watching! o/
