I bought this when Sunbreak launched, for switch.
played it for about an hour couldnt take the bad rendering.
So glad its coming to PS4 and PS5.
Might actually be able to get into this time around…
Plus earning trophies is going to be nice as well.
probably be easier to find a party on playstation too.

I’m suprised there’s still a wonder who the monster in title update 4 is. The question mark design is literally the one from monster hunter iceborne. Also I am definitely looking forward to the next game being more slower with its combat. While I enjoy being a whimsical creature flying around monsters, I would like to feel like a person hunting a monster. Good video as always.

Usually if a risen is added its listed as powerful monsters under the update. For example updates 2 and 3 had that term and the next thing you know it we got 3 elders suffering from cancer.

I’m wanting to get Rise on PS5, but I’m so used to Switch and Sunbreak that I don’t know if I have it in me to grind AR and MR again. Bought it all on sale a day before the announcement so I’m a little salty about that still.

So AT Velkhana was a cakewalk for you bro? Hmmm, ok sounds legit.
And no, normal Velkhana doesn’t count because that was an early MR Iceborne monster necessary to progress and later on acquire meta-gear to begin with.

AT velkhana is no cakewalk but definitely not that hard…but i also hope that it is not velkhana…they better give us some really old monster from older gen than worldborne…

I doubt malzeno will get a risen he doesn’t have to overcome the Quiros he is already in control of them during his fight they aren’t hurting him like other monsters

I can’t not see it being velkhana as the ? Used Is the one from monster hunter world and it also says “returning elder dragon” so It can’t be malzeno

Risen Malzeno wouldn’t make sense since it is a elder dragon that over came the qurio which wouldn’t work with Malzeno since it’s whole thing already is using the qurio.
So if it is another type of Malzeno it would most likely be a sub-spices as Risen would be out of the question here as the way they set Risen Elder Dragons would make no sense for Malzeno to get one.

@Nicholas McDowell I am not talking about the returning Elder Dragon, that will most likely be Velkana or Nergigante. I am just saying, that it would fit fith gen so far to give us an upgraded form of a flagship, and cause Risen Malzeno would really make no sense, something like true Malzeno would.
Of course I have no idea, what Capcom will do, but a stronger version of Malzeno would fit, what they did in World with archtempered.

@Nicholas McDowell yeah, but later they say, that Malzeno and Gaizmagorn are actually having a constant turf war and the origin of the Qurios is not Malzeno but Gaizmagorn.
I have no idea, what they will do, but we can expect some super version of Malzeno like we had with Archtempered Velkana or Nergigante.

@TgfkaTrichter doubtful man he’s in control of them he started blood blighting us before we knew of gaizmagorm if it is malzeno why is the id for the new elder dragon the one they used for velkana and if it is malzeno it would be a new variant of him not risen like the others is what we’re saying

Maybe we get true Malzeno. Maybe the Qurios do not make him stronger, but weaken him and we will get a Malzeno who has overcome his dependency of the Qurios and can now show his real power. 😉
